Fabric + Leather: Troubadour SS16 Collection

When founders Abel Samet and Samuel Bail created British luggage retailer Troubadour their aim was to “produce a classic, durable bag that married function and style – one you’d happily carry with you for years and years.” The Spring/Summer 2016 promotional materials display the recently launched Fabric + Leather collection, which is comprised of a holdall, a tote, a barrel bag and a full-zip briefcase manufactured by artisanal family businesses in collaboration with Samet and Bail.

As MacDonald writes, the result is “a selection of new, handcrafted silhouettes, each developed using a vegetable-tanned Italian leather and three premium fabrics: an open-weave nylon, a technical canvas, and a matte rubberised material.” Each item within the Fabric + Leather collection provides consumers with a product which is unique, utilitarian and sophisticated in design while being more lightweight and relaxed in construction, in comparison to previous collections.

The Troubadour Fabric + Leather collection can be purchased in selected stockists, and online.

Troubadour can be visited on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Pinterest.
