Published earlier this year, the Loewe Autumn/Winter 2015 Lookbook offers a snapshot of the brand’s current collection and takes inspiration from the 1970s in its styling, fabrics and designs.
Shot by photographer Jamie Hawkesworth with styling by fashion editor Benjamin Bruno, hair stylist Anthony Turner and make-up artist Niamh Quinn, the lookbook features models Finnlay Davis, George Kirkup-Delph, Marc André Turgeon, Mathieu Perrais and Matt Doran in key pieces from the collection whilst simultaneously projecting the brand identity of luxury, quality and craftsmanship.
Since joining Loewe in 2013 as creative director, J.W. Anderson stated that his aim was to make the brand “less serious”, to feel “fresher and sharper”, to move “away from the cliché.” This is apparent by looking at the captured images from the campaign. The collection is bright and colourful against its background and the eye is subsequently drawn to it. Sure, some of the items shown may not be to every individual’s personal style but there is something for everyone in this collection. Selected images from the lookbook are shown below.
